Union RV Warranty Policy

At Union RV, our commitment extends beyond the point of purchase. We stand behind our products to ensure that your experience with our Caravans is exceptional. Here’s why choosing Union RV gives you peace of mind:

Union RV is dedicated to supporting every unit we sell. In addition to our warranties, all Caravans come with warranties that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. This Union RV warranty does not limit or exclude consumer rights and remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.

The information below refers to warranties offered by Union RV. Please read all details carefully and retain your sales invoice as proof of purchase, as it must be presented when making a warranty claim. By purchasing from Union RV, you accept the Terms & Conditions of this warranty.

(1) 1-Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty: 

All Union RVs Caravans are covered by a 1-Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty from the original date of delivery.

(2) 5-Year Structural Warranty: 

All Union RVs Caravans are covered by a 5-Year Structural Warranty from the original date of delivery. This warranty covers the chassis (ONLY) for a period of 5 years.

(3) Warranty Coverage: 

The warranty applies to the original buyer and is not transferable. Once ownership passes from the original purchaser, all warranties become null & void. The original purchaser cannot make any claims on behalf of new owners.

(4) Exclusions from 1-Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty: 

Consumable parts are not covered under warranty. These include, but are not limited to, wheels, wheel bearings, tyres, zippers, and vinyl products. Union RV may supply spare consumables for sale if required.

(5) New Caravans Only: 

This warranty applies only to new Caravans. Caravans sold as ex-display or demo models will have a limited warranty, negotiated at the time of purchase. This warranty does not apply to Caravans purchased for rental, commercial use, auction sales, or used products.

(6) Factory Faults Only: 

The warranty does not cover damage caused by modifications, accidents, collisions, misuse, abuse, incorrect assembly, or improper, irregular, or inadequate maintenance. The purchaser must follow the care and maintenance instructions provided by Union RV to ensure proper product performance.

(7) Warranty Assessment & Repairs: 

Caravans must be returned to our factory for assessment or warranty work. Warranty approval is subject to inspection by Union RV. The warranty does not cover wear and tear or include pickup or delivery from our workshop.

(8) Union RV Agents & Warranty Claims: 

Union RV agents, suppliers, or resellers have no authority to authorize or deny warranty claims on behalf of Union RV.

(9) Third-Party Repairers: 

Any warranty work performed by a third-party repairer must first be approved in writing by an authorized representative of Union RV.

(10) Associated Costs: 

Any transport, accommodation, towing, or recovery costs arising from a warranty claim are the purchaser’s responsibility unless otherwise approved in writing by an authorized representative of Union RV.

(11) Extent of Repairs: 

When performing warranty work, Union RV will determine the extent of repairs or replacement parts at its discretion.

(12) Exclusion of Third-Party Appliances: 

Appliances, parts, and equipment supplied by Union RV via a third-party supplier (e.g., refrigerators, batteries, hot water units) are not covered under this warranty. These items are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Union RV will assist the purchaser in obtaining manufacturer warranties for all included appliances, parts, and equipment.

(13) Additional Exclusions:

• Impact or stone damage.
• Damage to fabrics and internal fitments from dust, water, or other substances.
• Damage resulting from hard impacts or heavy landings.
• Damage from water crossings, weather events, damaged seals, or leaks.
• Damage due to collision, misuse, abuse, incorrect assembly, or inadequate maintenance.
• Wear and tear on rubber seals, adhesives, or trim seals.
• Defects from the installation of aftermarket accessories or options.
• Consequential damages or continued use after a defect has become apparent.
• Costs related to transport, accommodation, towing, recovery, or relocation.
• Loss of earnings, rents, or other costs incurred during warranty repairs.
• Compliance issues due to changes in local, state, or federal legislation after manufacture.

(14) Canvas Warranty: 

Canvas components are covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty. This does not cover damages from negligence, wear and tear, or damage to zippers, flooring, mesh, stitching, seams, heat-proofing, vinyl, Velcro, or leaks if the tent has not been properly weathered or overstretched.

(15) Return Policy: 

Please choose carefully to ensure that your selected Caravan suits your needs. Wrong selection, change of mind, or minor variations in model, colour, or specifications are not grounds for a refund.
